Support for Kashmir cuts across party lines

Thousands rallied in mass demonstrations on Friday to express solidarity with Kashmiris and to protest against New Delhi’s brutalities in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

Along with the street protests, politicians also took to Twitter to express their support for Kashmiris.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed solidarity with the people of IOK and asserted that there could never be any compromise on Kashmir.

PPP Senator Sherry Rehman attended the Kashmir Solidarity Hour outside Pakistan Parliament House on Friday and shared a video on her Twitter account.

 

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said Pakistanis would always stand with Kashmiris.

 

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra urged people to come out to support the millions held captive by Indian forces.

Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari highlighted the importance of solidarity for oppressed people.

PM’s aide on overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari said the struggle for Kashmiris' rights had just started.
