‘Reverse flour prices to cut bread rates’
The Nanbai Association urged the government to revert flour prices

The naan makers have told the government that they are willing to sell the staple flat bread at previous rates if the price of flour is brought back to the past level. The Nanbai Association urged the government to revert flour prices to three months old rates if it wants naan to sell at previous rates. The Nanbai Association President Fazal Kareem Abbasi said that during the last three months the cost of a sack of flour and fine flour have reached Rs3,100 and Rs3,600 respectively. He said that owing to the increase of Rs500-800 it was impossible to maintain prices of roti.
