CIA busts two gangs of thieves

Investigation SP Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted two special investigation teams under CIA DSP Hakim Khan

ISLAMABAD: Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police arrested a gang of criminals comprising five people and recovered gold ornaments, looted items and 11 stolen bikes from them, a police spokesman said on Thursday.

Saadi Faraz had lodged a complaint in the Kohsar police station and said thieves entered his brother’s house Sector F-7-3 and stole gold and diamond ornaments, US dollars, Rolex and Rado wrist watches and other things.

Investigation SP Syed Mustafa Tanveer constituted two special investigation teams under the supervision of CIA DSP Hakim Khan. One of the team succeeded to nab Bahadur Shabir and Farooq who confessed to involvement in thefts in posh sectors of Islamabad and recovered the stolen goods.

Another CIA team apprehended Faizan, Talha, Shakir and recovered 11 stolen bikes from them.
