Police to train women volunteers

RAWALPINDI: Policewomen from special branch will train female volunteers in frisking methods for checking women entering mourning processions during Muharramul Haram. “Women volunteers will get training at their homes,” Rawalpindi Special Branch SSP Khurram Shehzad said this while meeting caretakers of all Imambargahs from Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal and Rawalpindi. He said that while the police would ensure security, the mourning processions should strictly follow their time table. SSP Shehzad had invited caretakers of Imambargahs from four districts to discuss coordination of security details.
