Russia, NUML to boost cultural ties

The envoy says they were keen on working closely with NUML and wish to organise a different event

Russia on Wednesday expressed its desire to enhance bilateral ties with Pakistan, organize different programmes and events at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).

This was stated by Russian Ambassador Danila Ganich as he led a delegation to the varsity on Wednesday. During the visit, he met with NUML Rector Major General (Retd) Muhammad Jaffar along with NUML Director General Brigadier (retired) Muhammad Ibrahim and Russian Embassy Cultural Attaché Ekaterina Shematinova and Russian Language Department Head Dr Asma Navid.

The envoy said that they were keen on working closely with NUML and wish to organise different events to further improve bilateral relations.

He appreciated NUML’s efforts in promoting the Russian language and culture.
