Court approves bail of seven accused
The prosecutor says it was possible according to NAB rules
KARACHI:
The Sindh High Court confirmed the bail pleas of seven persons accused of corruption in Thatta district education office. The bench remarked that everyone is a thief according to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The prosecutor maintained that some accused had given statements against the others. “How can an accused give statement against another accused?” the bench remarked. The prosecutor said it was possible according to NAB rules. The court confirmed the bail of seven accused and directed each of them to submit surety of Rs500,000.
