Steps to promote religious harmony discussed

Religious scholars of different schools of thought called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday. During the meeting, a detailed discussion about the situation in Kashmir and steps for the promotion of religious harmony and unity during Muharram was conducted.
The meeting was held under the aegis of the Auqaf department and the Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen Committee. Religious scholars assured their full cooperation for maintaining unity, peace and harmony in society. Speaking at the occasion, the chief minister said that many difficult situations relating to terrorism and fanaticism had been controlled by religious scholars.
“Anti-social elements are bent upon sabotaging law and order.”
