PM Imran appoints nine lawmakers as parliamentary secretaries in NA
Secretaries assist cabinet ministers, advisers and special assistants
Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed on Monday nine lawmakers from the National Assembly as parliamentary secretaries.
“The Prime Minister has been pleased to appoint the following members of National Assembly as Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry/Division..with immediate and until further orders,” said an official notification issued on Monday.
Parliamentary secretaries are members of the lower house from the governing party, appointed by the prime minister to assist cabinet ministers, advisers and special assistants.
Saleh Mohammad, MNA from NA-13 has been given charge of parliamentary secretary for water resources. Prince Muhammad Nawaz has been appointed parliamentary secretary for the Ministry of Science and Technology, Muhammad Bashir Khan as secretary for privatisation, Sahabzada Sabghatullah for postal services, Khyal Zaman Petroleum Division, Muhammad Yakoob Shaikh Economic Affairs Division, Malik Nawar Taj for Ministry of Industry and Production, Nasir Khan Musazai for Establishment Division and Saleem Rehman for Parliamentary Affairs.
