FGEHF ready for joint venture deal with five partners

As per the projects unveiled, the foundation will build 3,601 apartments on 225 Kanal in Bajanyal, Rawalpindi

The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has decided to finalise agreements with private partners for housing schemes under joint ventures in provincial capitals.

The foundation would commence these projects under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme with five private partners, according to official documents seen by The Express Tribune.

As per the projects unveiled, the foundation will build 3,601 apartments on 225 Kanal in Bajanyal, Rawalpindi. The price of a three-bed apartment covering 1,500 square-feet (sq.ft) is estimated to be around Rs9,825,000 while a two-bed apartment on 1100 sq.ft would be sold for around Rs7,291,000. Similarly, a 850 sq.ft two-bed apartment would cost around Rs5,272,000.

The apartments under the scheme would be constructed on 30 Kanal on Bedian Road in Lahore. A three-bed apartment covering area of 1,800 sq.ft has been estimated to be around Rs11,100,000. A two-bed flat on 1,150 sq.ft and a single-bed on 900 sq.ft would approximately cost Rs7,130,000 and Rs5,580,000 respectively.
