15,000 saplings planted in Lodhran

The Multan forest department planted 15,000 saplings at Miranpur Jungle in Lodhran district on Saturday.
A total of 1,500 students from different schools participated in the tree plantation campaign. The plantation drive was part of the prime minister’s Billion Tree Tsunami project, said Chief Conservation Officer Ajmal Raheem. The official said that a plan had been devised to plant saplings on 250 acres of land at Peerowal Jungle in Khanewal.
