This is apropos a news story “Denmark to give $28 million for journalists’ capacity building” published in the Islamabad edition of The Express Tribune on July 5.

It is clarified that the budget for the entire Danish Development Programme for Pakistan is $28 million; of this, about $3.5 million is reserved for media development initiatives, focusing on enhancing the investigative journalism, promoting conflict solution through media and mainstreaming of gender, according to a press release issued by Danish International Development Assistance.
