DIG holds open court session 

He says problems of the complainants will be solved at priority basis

LAHORE: Lahore Deputy Inspector General of Police Operations Ashfaq Khan held an open court session in his office separately to hear the complaints of citizens. The citizens raised various issues on which the DIG issued orders, on the spot, for the redressel of their genuine grievances to the police officers concerned. The DIG said that the aim of open courts is to ensure direct access of the complainants to senior police officers so that citizens can more openly and confidently express their grievances. He added that problems of the complainants will be solved at priority basis and provision of justice will be ensured without any discrimination. He further said that maintenance of law and order and security of life and property of citizens is the top priority of Lahore Police. He briefed that the support of people is essential to achieve the targets of curbing criminals in the provincial capital. He concluded that police officers and officials have been directed to cooperate with the citizens and behave in a friendly and polite manner to solve their problems.
