A pickup truck collided with a motorcycle near Wapda Town Roundabout, killing the two-year-old

LAHORE: A minor girl died after a pickup truck collided with a motorcycle near Wapda Town Roundabout on Thursday. The victim, identified as two-year-old Hina, was on a motorcycle with her father when the collision occurred. Both of them fell on to the road and sustained injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced the minor dead. The driver was taken into police custody. Just a day earlier, two people died while six others were injured after a truck rammed into two motorcycles and a four-wheeler near Phatak Pull on Lahore-Kasur Road. One of the deceased was identified as 50-year-old Ilyas while the injured were identified as 18-year-old Tahir, 19-year-old Shahbaz, 23-year-old Abbas, 50-year-old Allah Ditta, 29-year-old Danish and Ashraf. The same day, a 35-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were killed when a bus collided with a motorcycle in Green Town. The victims were identified as Ahsan and Sidra.
