QUETTA: Former minister for labour and manpower Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Domki has claimed that the provincial government has given Rs9 billion to non-elected representatives. In a statement on Wednesday, the former minister expressed his gratitude to Balochistan governor for accepting his resignation and relieving him of the government’s responsibility. “Rs9 billion were released for the non-elected members by the CM who claims to be pursuing good governance,” he said. “Those who think I [Domki] have left the party [BAP] should know that I have parted ways with the government, not the party, as no individual owns this party,” the BAP leader added. It was implied that he will soon hold a press conference to release a white paper against the government. Domki had resigned from the ministry of labour and manpower because of a dispute with the CM Jam Kamal Khan earlier this month.
