Punjab law minister says Punjab Chief Minister Buzdar wants to eradicate corruption from every department

Provincial Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Local Government Raja Basharat has said that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar wants to promote transparency and eradicate corruption from every department. He stated this while presiding over a meeting in Civil Secretariat on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the current business model of LWMC was reviewed.
The law minister said that fiscal matters of Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) from the previous government’s tenure were found in a precarious state, causing heavy losses to the national exchequer. “The Lakhodair Landfill had not been constructed according to the terms and conditions agreed, which was causing great environmental pollution and affecting underground water.”
