CDA officer absent for seven years axed
Penalties have been imposed in light of recommendations from an inquiry committee
ISLAMABAD:
The top civic body of the federal capital has removed an official from service and demoted another for un-authorised leaves and misconduct.
The penalties have been imposed in light of recommendations of an inquiry committee per the relevant clauses of the CDA Employees Service Regulation, 1992 and after the approval of competent authorities.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Human Resource Directorate on Monday issued orders to remove DMA Sub-Inspector Usman Rafeeq (Basic Pay Scale-14) from service on account of unauthorised absence from duty since 2012.
Similarly, an inquiry against Enforcement Directorate Security Guard Amjad Mehmood was launched for alleged misconduct.
The inquiry committee recommended a major penalty of demoting him to a lower stage in his time scale promotions.
