RAWALPINDI:
Despite the Punjab Police's claims of having ingrained professionalism in its staffers, a video went viral on Sunday of a shirtless sub-inspector in a Rawalpindi police station.

In the footage another officer can be seen in plain clothes as well.

The sub-inspector, identified as Muhammad Hayat, was seen wearing the skimpy attire in the presence of women who had come to file complaints.

The officer listens to the sub-inspector while giving him instructions.

After the video began doing the rounds on social media, Rawalpindi CPO Mohammad Faisal Rana took action by suspending the pair.

Couple arrested for ‘sexually abusing, filming’ 45 girls in Rawalpindi

According to sources privy to the development, Hayat has been performing his duties without his shirt and even deals with female complainants in the same manner.

"A departmental inquiry is also going to take place against him [Muhammad Hayat]  and he will face exemplary punishment if found guilty," they added.

Rawalpindi police has been in the media spotlight recently as on August 16 a couple was arrested for allegedly being involved in kidnapping, sexually abusing, blackmailing and also recording inappropriate videos of dozens of girls in Rawalpindi.
