A two-day training workshop for the professional development of around 30 teachers of Islamabad
ISLAMABAD:
A two-day training workshop for the professional development of around 30 teachers of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) concluded on Saturday.
The workshop held here under the auspices of Teachers Professional Development Programme (TPDP) was organised by the Progressive Education Network (PEN), a non-governmental organisation.
The teachers were selected from around 12 schools of of Bhara Kahu, and were imparted with educational skills and know-how about the development of classrooms on modern-lines. During the training the teachers were also taught modern teaching techniques to help children enhance their focus and help them develop their natural abilities and their self-confidence. Noor Aen, a female trainer, underlined the need of bilateral relations and activity-based education.
