All is set for laying the foundation of Nullah Leh next month by the Prime Minister Imran Khan. The authorities are waiting for monsoon season to end to organize a ceremony in this regard at Liaquat Bagh. However, a rise in currency exchange rates has escalated project cost to Rs85 billion from Rs80 billion. In this regard, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed told The Express Tribune that a track for a mono train was recommended as part of project however it required a new project concept (PC) 1, therefore, it was dropped to avoid further delay.
