Chief Whip of National Assembly Malik Amir Dogar lauded the district administration for achieving the best cleanliness arrangements possible during Eidul Azha.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, he said that the district administration has ensured cleanliness in the city by removing remains of sacrificial animals on the occasion of Eidul Azha. He congratulated Deputy Commissioner Amir Khattak, Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) CEO Ameer Hassan Qureshi and all managers of the company for successfully meeting their targets. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Amir Khattak visited different locations to oversee the cleanliness operation. Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that 2,400 tons of waste was expected daily during Eidul Azha out of which 5,730 tons of waste has already been picked up in the first two days.
He added that cleanliness operation will continue with rapid pace.
