‘Pay special attention to poor'
Raja Basharat has urged the nation to take special care of the poor
LAHORE:
Provincial Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Social Welfare Raja Basharat has urged the nation to take special care of the poor and the destitute on the holy days of EIdul Azha. In his message to the faithful on Eidul Azha, he said that the festival is aimed at motivating the people to make sacrifices for good causes but its unique purpose is to realise the hardships of other people. The provincial minister drew people’s attention to the Indian-held Kashmir where the Indian government is inflicting the worst atrocities on the people of Kashmir. He urged the faithful to remember the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, who are struggling to attain their legitimate right to plebiscite. He appealed for praying for the oppressed and aggrieved people during the Eidul Azha congregations.
