HARIPUR: An under trial prisoner of Haripur jail escaped from police custody here on Tuesday. Police said that Raja Fakhar, who hails from Julain Khanpur, was accused of murdering his brother-in-law Adeel Ahmed in Mamrial village on March 22 this year. He was later arrested. On Tuesday, he was being taken to Central Prison Haripur in a police van with other prisoners after appearing in court, when the van slowed down at a speed breaker near Mohalla Afzalabad.
