ACE recovers 217 kanal and three marlas of government land worth Rs125 million from land grabbers

On the directions of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Director General Muhammad Gohar Nafees, a grand operation is being launched against land grabbers across the province. ACE, in collaboration with the district administration, is taking action against the illegal allotment of government land and land grabbers. With the assistance of the district administration and police, ACE recovered 217 kanal and three marlas of government land worth Rs125 million from land grabbers and illegal occupants. ACE Lahore Region Director Sajid Hussain, after holding an inquiry against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-M) MNA Javed Latif for illegally occupying government land, directed Sheikhupura ACE Deputy Director to take immediate action against Latif and others involved.
