Strict security planned for Eidul Azha
Around 1,800 policemen will be deployed in mosques and other religious places

The district police have planned strict security arrangements for Eidul Azha. A police official said that around 1,800 policemen will be deployed in mosques and other religious places in the district. According to the security plan, foolproof arrangements have been made in 513 mosques in the district. “Eid-ul-Azha will be offered in 32 open places.” Another official said that security had been beefed up for all three days of Eidul Azha. For Independence Day, a special checking system has been ensured in roads around mosques and Imambargahs. “A total of 21 walk-through gates, 1,138 metal-detectors and 198 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras have been provided for security check.
