Independence Day: Seven-day peace seminar begins
PM Imran has decided to highlight the issue at an international level

In connection with Independence Day celebrations, a seven-day 'Peace Seminar' commenced in Multan Tea House on Friday. Focal Person for Ceremonies, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Sabeen Gul, said in her inaugural address that peace can be achieved with the help of people from all walks of life including minorities. MPA Wasif Mazhar Raan said that Pakistanis should not forget the Kashmiri people while celebrating Independence Day.
He added that the prime minister has decided to highlight the issue at an international level. MPA Saleem Akhtar said that all Pakistanis belonging to different political parties were on the same page as far as maintenance of peace in the country is concerned. Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Mehandar Pal Singh, said that under the new government, justice and peace will be given to everyone.
