Assistance: Japan to provide help in energy sector

ISLAMABAD:
The Japanese ambassador has assured Pakistan that Japan will extend all possible help in the energy sector and transfer of technology. Ambassador Hiroshi Oe gave the assurance in a meeting with Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain on Tuesday. Hussain said Pakistan had always welcomed cooperation extended by Japan in various sectors of economy. He apprised the ambassador about ongoing projects in the oil and gas sector and emphasised the need for expanding cooperation between the two countries.
