Monsoon rains: PIA reschedules domestic flights
PMD has predicted heavy monsoon rains from August 9
The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has cancelled and rescheduled some of its domestic flights as heavy rains are expected from Saturday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that the second spell of heavy monsoon rain will start from August 9, and last till August 12 in most parts of the country.
Passengers have been informed through PIA call centre regarding the change in schedule.
"PIA regrets the inconvenience caused to its valued passengers and passengers of other flights are requested to contact at helpline number 111-786-786," the statement said.
