Schools told to clean up before vacation end
Schools have been directed to submit a report and any complaint regarding cleanliness would be dealt strictly
RAWALPINDI:
Punjab ministry of education has issued a circular to all 53,000 schools across the province to complete cleanliness before end of summer vacations.
All educational officers and school heads in 36 districts of Punjab have been strictly directed to clean classrooms, playgrounds, roofs and washrooms before August 14. People responsible for upkeep of schools have also been instructed to remove wild bushes from playgrounds and other areas before deadline.
30,000 children out of school in Islamabad
The schools have been instructed to put towels, soaps and other related stuffs in washrooms and to hoist banners for awareness against dengue virus.
All schools have been directed to submit a report in this regard and any complaint regarding cleanliness would be dealt strictly.
Meanwhile the Departmental Promotional Committee for primary to middle school teachers approved promotion of 134 teachers.
