"I'm so grateful to Allah that just like every other Pakistani regardless of religious or political affiliations, the media/artist fraternity too are unanimously raising there voice for Kashmir. Modi's blunder has united everyone for Kashmir. Freedom for Kashmir soon," he tweeted.

He went on to write, "My fellow Pakistanis, keep an eye on those so called leaders/journalists who are shamelessly using this Kashmir crisis for political gain by saying Pakistan Govt is on board with Modi on this move. Remember them. On this, I will take names and expose them after this crisis settles a bit!"

"Pakistan has started using all diplomatic means by engaging friendly countries/OIC/UNSC etc. We will know how that unfolds in a matter of days. However, if diplomacy cannot bring about reversing the scrapping of Article 370 then Pakistan will and must use all other means to Save Kashmir," added the Waar actor.

Earlier, Abbasi appealed everyone to come together for Kashmir.
“I appeal to all Pakistani artists, especially those with the most following on social media, ask yourselves with utmost sincerity that why do you not raise a voice for KASHMIR? Is it because you genuinely think it won’t make a difference?” said Abbasi.

Or is it because you don’t want to get involved in this because it’ll effect your Indian fan following or future work prospects there? Please hear me out as I mean this in good will,” he added.

He once again appealed to fellow artists to raise their voice against the barbarity in Kashmir.
“If in your heart you realise that there is zulm (barbarity) on a mass scale in our very backyard and you should raise a voice (that’s the least we can do) but you still stay silent, then remember that this fan following will become your biggest trial and you will be answerable for this silence in front of your Lord,” concluded Abbasi.
