UoP students teach street children
60 street children benefited from this educational process
PESHAWAR:
Twenty Students of University of Peshawar under community services program, University of Peshawar have extended one-and-half month volunteer coaching and training sessions with street children in Peshawar. These coaching and training sessions were organised by Community Services Programme in collaboration with Cities for Children and Dost Welfare Foundation under an MoU signed in June 2019. In the program 60 street children benefited from this educational process. At the end of the training process, an excursion visit of Peshawar Zoo and University Museum were given to street children. On visit to University of Peshawar, they also met with the Vice Chancellor and Pro vice University, Peshawar who appreciated the efforts of Dr Shakeel Ahmed, Director Community Services program, Dost Foundation, Cities for Children and all volunteer engaged in this noble cause."
