Shutter-down strike against killing of protesters in Mianwali
Police killed 3 protesters during demonstration against loadshedding on Monday.

A complete shutter-down strike was observed in Mianwali on Tuesday against the killing of three protesters by police on Monday during a demonstration against loadshedding.
Three people were killed and 28 were injured as police clashed with a crowd of about 8,000 people who took to the streets in Mianwali city to protest against loadshedding. Some protesters later attacked government buildings, shops and pelted police with stones, Mohammad Waqas Nazir, city police chief, told AFP.
District Coordination Officer (DCO) Mianwali was also injured in the riots that erupted after police used force to disperse the protesters.
All the markets and business centres will remain closed in the city.
