Sewerage line to be replaced
Officials expect completion of the work in the next three days
KARACHI:
The 50-year-old sewerage line in Saddar caved in due to pressure of recent downpour in the city.
The work to change the 54-inch line is underway and being monitored by the Managing Director Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) Asadullah Khan.
CDA gives IMC land to build sewage treatment plant
Officials expect completion of the work in the next three days. Meanwhile, KWSB plans to install 24-inch pipeline in Liaquatabad today (Sunday).
Water supply to area will be suspended for at least 48 hours and residents have been directed to conserve water.
