Endurance an asset of activist: Ahsan

He says that politics have become infertile because politicians have stopped studying

ISLAMABAD: Endurance is the biggest asset of a political activist, said PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan on Saturday. Speaking at a ceremony held in his honour by SZABIST, Ahsan said he started his over 50-year-long political carrier from the student union. “I fought against the dictatorship of Ayub Khan, refused civil services job offer from Yahya Khan and stood up to tyranny of Pervez Musharraf,” he said. Speakers paid tributes to Ahsan at the ceremony organised by Mehergarh at SZABIST. Senator Hasil Bizinjo said Ahsan stood for his ideals. Bizinjo told the students that if they want to follow Ahsan, they should study. “Politics have become infertile because politicians have stopped studying,” he said.
