K-P appoints Shumail Butt as new AG
Butt will replace the incumbent AG Abdul Latif Yousafzai, whose contract with the government expired
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Shah Farman on Friday appointed Shumail Ahmad Butt as the new Advocate General (AG) of the province. A notification issued on Friday by the K-P Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights Department said that Butt’s appointment will come into effect immediately. Butt, an advocate of the Supreme Court, will replace the incumbent AG Abdul Latif Yousafzai, whose contract with the government expired. The notice said that Butt’s service shall be governed by the terms and conditions laid down in the K-P Advocate General (Terms and conditions of Services) Rules 2005.
