Another verdict reserved
Petition against sealing of Safa Gold Mall, Islamabad
ISLAMABAD:
The IHC has reserved verdict after completion of arguments in a petition against sealing of Safa Gold Mall. Justice Amir Farooq presided over the case on Thursday. During the course of hearing, the counsel for mall said that CDA sent a notice on July 23 and sealed the mall on July 27. He added that mall owner remained under arrest by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from November 2017 to May 2018. The CDA’s counsel Hafiz Arfat, argued that 5th and 6th floor of mall was being used for commercial activity. The court remarked that there should be permission for parking in mall’s basement.
