Shaukat Khanum Diagnostic Centre inaugurated
Earning received from the diagnostic centre will be spent on the treatment of deserving cancer patients

United Christian Hospital Chairman Board of Governors Anthony Lemuel said the partnership with Shaukat Khanum Hospital would help the hospital restore its standard and glory.
He expressed these views while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Shaukat Khanum Diagnostic Center Liberty.
This diagnostic centre is the largest project outside the main building of Shaukat Khanum Hospital located in Johar Town. Under the agreement, the centre’s land and the building will be owned by United Christian Hospital while the centre would be operated under the management of Shaukat Khanum Hospital. The earning received from the diagnostic centre will be spent on the treatment of deserving cancer patients treated at Shaukat Khanum Hospital while a certain portion of the earning will be paid to United Christian Hospital every month which helps in improving infrastructure and health facilities here.

Shaukat Khanum Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr Asim Yousaf said the radiology department here has the latest equipment including 1.5 Tesla MRIs, 160 silence CT scanners, fluoroscopy as well as Digital X-ray, mammography and ultrasound are included.
