Law And Order: ‘Balochistan situation not satisfactory’

if steps are taken to create more opportunities for the public, there would be no law and order problem.

QUETTA:
Commander Southern Command Lt Gen. Javed Zia said on Monday that no army action is being carried out in any part of Balochistan, adding that most incidents of kidnapping for ransom, target killings and other criminal activities have connections with insurgency. He said that although there have been significant improvements in the law and order situation of the province, it has yet to reach a satisfactory level. Speaking at the passing-out parade of the Balochistan police and constabulary personnel who completed their special anti-terrorism training conducted by the Pakistan Army, Zia said that if steps are taken to create more opportunities for the public, there would be no law and order problem.
