Ex-senator hosts farewell reception
He hopes that bilateral relations between the US and Pakistan would further strengthen in the days to come

Former senator Enwer Baig hosted a farewell reception for the outgoing Unites States (US) Political Counselor Ted Craig. US embassy officials, retired generals and members of Pakistani media attended the reception. Senator Baig in his remarks eulogised services of the outgoing US official saying during his tenure Craig did his best to contribute towards further strengthening of bilateral relations. He said Craig’s absence would be felt and hoped he would come back to Pakistan on a senior position. He also presented him with a cricket shirt as a souvenir. The shirt carried Ted Craig’s name as well. The outgoing political counselor also spoke briefly and thanked former senator Baig for hosting a reception for him. He hoped that bilateral relations between the US and Pakistan would further strengthen in the days to come.
