Govt announces 48 new posts for PINS

Our collective responsibility to fully implement health policy set by the government in true letter and spirit

Institutions are not just made by buildings but by the collective efforts of hard-working teams, said Head of PINS and renowned neurosurgeon Dr Khalid Mahmood.

“The administrations of the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) and Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences (PINS) will leave no stone unturned to extend full cooperation and best medical care to its patients.”  These views were expressed by him in a reception hosted in honor of the new PGMI Principal Dr Sardar Mohammad Alfareed Zafar. The PINS head announced 48 new posts including MS, DF and nursing superintendent for the institution to further enhance the capacity and capability of PINS.

He added that although PINS has been declared an independent institution by the provincial government, the institute will work with LGH as a sister organisation. ”Both institutions need to move forward through joint collaboration.”

In his conversation, the PGMI principal said that it is our collective responsibility to fully implement the health policy set by the government in true letter and spirit.
