The coastal highway remained flooded in Sabandar and Karwat areas while Gawadar's land route to Pasni, Karachi and other areas remained cut-off. Authorities have cleared the road after constructing banks on roadsides.
Sources say air traffic from Gawadar to Karachi is also set to resume on Friday.
Meanwhile, no measures have been taken to repair the damage to electricity installations in the area.
Tropical Cyclone Phet has caused losses of billions of rupees in Gwadar, with as many as 70 per cent of the houses in the area being affected by the cyclone and the heavy rainfall preceeding it.
