Another Congo virus case reported 

A rise has been observed in the cases of Congo virus in Sindh, and this is the ninth case reported this year

KARACHI:
Another patient infected with Congo virus has been admitted at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). Ashraf Khan, a resident of Quetta, was admitted to JPMC on Friday morning.  According to JPMC Executive Director Seemi Jamali, Khan was suffering from high fever and his nose was bleeding when he was brought to the hospital. He is being kept in the isolation ward and his condition is critical, she said.  A rise has been observed in the cases of Congo virus in Sindh, and this is the ninth case reported this year. As many as five people have died after being infected with the virus in Sindh, of whom three belonged to Karachi.
