CDA transfers more than 150 officers in first phase

Reshuffle part of rotation policy introduced in the authority

ISLAMABAD:
In compliance with directives of Public Accounts Committee, Capital Development Authority (CDA) acting upon rotation policy has transferred more than 150 officers of BS-17, BS-18 and BS-19 in the first phase.

These officers have been serving on the same posts for more than three years. Transfers have been made across the board and in all cadres of the authority.

Human Resource Department has issued orders in this regard. The officers have been directed to relinquish their charges and assume the charges of new assignments accordingly.


The officers that have been transferred include three directors of Executive cadre, two directors of Architecture Wing, two directors (Civil), four deputy directors, three deputy directors electrical and mechanical wing, two deputy directors planning wing, three deputy directors Architecture Wing, four deputy directors Finance, Audit and Accounts Wing, one deputy director of Executive cadre, one deputy director Security cadre, seven Audit and Accounts officers, two Statistical and Evaluation officers, 21 Divisional Accounts officers, 16 Assistant Accounts officers, 26 Assistant Directors (Civil), 15 Assistant Directors Electrical & Mechanical, eight Assistant Directors Executive cadre, a marketing manager, an assistant manager, a documentation officer and 31 private secretaries.

It is pertinent to mention that some officers of the authority were working in same departments on same posts for more than three years and had not been rotated. Furthermore, due to lack of implementation of the rotation policy, issues of governance and service delivery arose.

CDA Management has reiterated that rotation policy will be implemented across all wings of the Authority.
