RAWALPINDI:
In an act of kindness and professionalism, the Rescue 1122 staff saved a domestic cat’s life by rescuing it from a well built on an empty plot in the city’s Lalazar area on Wednesday.

The rescue team sprang into action after a telephone call from the cat’s owner, Jauhar Majeed, who said that his pet’s life would be in danger if not rescued in time, according to an 1122 spokesperson.

Experts were then sent on the site, who went into the well with the help of ropes and rescued the wounded animal. The cat was given milk and later handed over to its owner.
