Marriage party: Landmine blast kills 13 in Afghanistan
Victims died after the bus in which they were travelling hit a landmine near the Shimalzai Adda

At least 13 persons, 11 of the same family, died after the bus in which they were travelling hit a landmine near the Shimalzai Adda in Afghanistan along the border on Sunday. The bus was part of a convoy carrying people to a marriage ceremony. Several others were reported injured. The dead included four women and two children. Afghan Security Forces are said to be investigating the incident. Sources told The Express Tribune that the landmine was likely buried for attacking a Nato convoy. The bus was travelling from Wilayat to Paktia.
