Another MNA disqualified over fake degree

The election tribunal of the Lahore High Court disqualified PML-N MNA Syed Javed Hussnain for holding a fake degree.

The election tribunal of the Lahore High Court disqualified PML-N MNA Syed Javed Hussnain for holding a fake degree.

The MNA's bachelors degree was challenged in the Election Tribunal of LHC, headed by Nasir Saeed Sheikh.

The court disqualified Javed Hussnain after the degree was proven to be fake. Syed Javed Hussnain had been elected from NA-68 Sargodha, with more than 80,000 votes.

The court instructed for new elections to be held within two months in the same constituency.

Parliamentarians holding fake degrees has grown to become a serious issue in Pakistan with new cases of fake degrees being discovered many times in the recent past.

Upto my knowledge Javed Hasnain was a gentle politician and unfortunately his advisors were sycophant who advised him not to tender resignation. But, this is bitter reality that Javed Hasnain was not a graduate and he earned degree of some unknown seminary (Modarrsah).

mehdi | 14 years ago | Reply In the light (or darkness) of MNA/MPAs getting dis-qual due to fake Degree, and then getting re-elected: Either this 'kala qanoon' of BA be dispensed with or; The dis-qual per be fined the amount equivalent to the expenditure incurred out of tax payers money to play the 'drama' of re-election. After all, it was his willful wrongdoing that caused this extra expense.

In real, educational degrees have no relationship with success in any mean :) I'm 17 year old teenager though I'm more successful then my College's principal Its all about luck and hard work. Ehh, anyone here who could teach these stupid Pakistani leaders about it?

Why this PML-N has given a ticket to such fake persons whose basic identity which is education is fake .......... Time has come for those parties, to ponder over future course, who claims to be straight and followers of justice to kick such people out and look for educated as well as devoted people who just want to work for the betterment of the people. Need of the hour is the educated and sincere people of the country should come up and make a party who should be at least not having such idiot things in the party and love for the country should be their priority ........ no their personal interests ,......
