Pitty even when representing our country abroad Selected PM can’t get of his container. Imran is a ruler not a leader. 🇵🇰 needs a leader who speaks for all Pakistanis not just himself. If government does opposition & opposition does opposition then who’s left to run the country?
PPP Senator Sherry Rehman called Imran Khan’s rally in DC is an ‘embarrassment’ for the nation.
Yesterday PM’s speech in D.C. crossed all boundaries of poor taste and qnorms. Diplomats in Islamabad were shocked and embarrassed for Pakistan at this polarising talk abroad.Forget the signal to investors that Pk is divided and unstable,he pointed to volatility as the new normal
She further claimed that diplomats in Islamabad were "shocked and embarrassed" after the prime minister's polarising talk to the crowd gathered in the US capital.
PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari reacted to PM Imran's speech by saying that the focus of foreign tours should be "building a relationship based on understanding”
“Imran Khan is selected, but he should also take care of the country's honour,” he added.
Bukhari also added that the PPP believed in the country's independence and self-determination, which should be a political commitment of everybody speaking on international tours.
However, Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda praised his party leader's rally in the US and said it was a message to the global community regarding the country's integrity.
PMIK has come out to be a global leader.Jalsa wasn’t only political death for opposition but also a message to the world that Pak's integrity comes first. Aids/grants/do more mantra is over.Relations would be on an equal footing.IK will make sure there’s no compromise on respect
Seeing the massive turn-out in the rally, the Special Assistant to PM on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Bukhari thanked the enthusiastic crowd.
