Crime: LHC orders case against six cops

Millat Park police have registered a case against an inspector and five other policemen for harbouring criminals.

Millat Park police have registered a case against an inspector and five other policemen for harbouring criminals, on the orders of the Lahore High Court, on Saturday.


No arrests have been made yet. Shahzad Gulzar had filed a petition accusing Inspector Ibrar, Sub Inspector Sahawat Ali and Constables Muhammad Ramazan, Nawaz, Pervez and Sarwar of protecting proclaimed offenders. In FIR has been registered against the six under Sections 395, 337(i)(2), 452, 427, 354 and 342 of the PPC and 155-C and 156-C of the Police Order 2002.
