Theft at Overseas Pakistanis Ministry
Important documents of the ministry relating to employees’ funds stolen
ISLAMABAD:
Officials of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis have claimed that important record containing sensitive information has been stolen from the ministry’s office in Pakistan Secretariat. Secretariat police have registered a case against unidentified people on an application filed by a section officer of the ministry. According to the complaint, some important documents of the ministry relating to employees’ funds were stolen from the record room on July 11. The report has also stated that there are no closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras in the said room. Meanwhile, the police are probing the matter with the help of safe city cameras in order to find clues of the culprits.
