Two acquitted in drug possession cases
Police claimes to have seized 130 grams of hashish from the possession of Malik Abbas, 1.015 kilogrammes of hashish

East district model court acquitted two accused in separate cases of drug possession. Announcing the verdicts of both the cases at Karachi’s Central Jail, additional district and sessions judge Haleem Ahmed acquitted the accused Malik Abbas and Saleh Muhammad for want of evidence. Police claimed to have seized 130 grams of hashish from the possession of Malik Abbas and 1.015 kilogrammes of hashish from the possession of Saleh Muhammad. Cases against the accused were registered at Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station and PIB Colony police station. Published in The Express Tribune, July 17th, 2019.
