Accused in rape case handed over to police

KARACHI:
A local court handed over on Tuesday a man, accused of raping a girl who was found unconscious at Sea View, to the police on a two-day physical remand.
The south judicial magistrate heard the cases against Ali Raza alias Ali Imran at the Karachi city court. The police presented Raza before the court. The IO told the court that the accused was arrested from Korangi and that they needed to conduct a DNA test of the accused. His accomplice, Kiran, has yet to be arrested, he added.
The IO requested the court to hand over the accused on remand for investigation, which was granted.
